Halloween gives mystery a place at the table. We dress as other selves, play with the unfamiliar, and turn our attention toward the boundary between the world we know and everything that lies beyond our understanding.

At its heart is the idea of the thinning veil—when the visible and invisible seem closer, and the connection between memory, love, and those who came before us feels especially alive. As the nights lengthen, that invitation takes on a deeper resonance. What might we notice if we let the unknown hold our attention for a while?

This Halloween, Sonya Belisle and Capri Pinto invite you to explore that question through LUMINATE: an immersive evening of sound, guided meditation, and special effects, surrounded throughout in the frequency of love.

Guided meditation will open the journey, offering a way into the evening’s themes of connection, remembrance, and mystery. You might bring the memory of someone you love, a question you’ve been living with, or simply your curiosity. Nothing needs to be resolved. There is room to explore without needing to explain.

Sound will give that exploration depth and dimension. Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, voice, drums, percussion, and chimes will weave a richly textured experience around you. Sonya’s extraordinary 150-year-old Myanmar gong brings its deep, expansive resonance, with vibrations that can be felt as well as heard. Special effects will deepen the atmosphere and the sense of stepping beyond the everyday.

Love is the thread through it all. The love we carry for people who have shaped us. The care we offer ourselves as life changes. The connection we can feel in a room of people willing to pause and listen together.

There will be treats, too—because Halloween’s playfulness belongs here alongside its mystery. Come with a little imagination and give yourself an evening to be immersed.
