After countless hours devoted to placing millions of grains of sand into an intricate mandala, the monks will conclude with a powerful ritual of dissolution, sweeping the sand together in a sacred ceremony. Following this symbolic act, the blessed sand will be distributed among attendees, offering each a personal keepsake of the mandala's blessings. The remaining sand will then be released into a natural body of water, allowing the blessings to flow outward with the water, spreading peace and compassion to the world.
