The Sedona Water Festival begins with a profound ceremonial activation led by Uqualla, spiritual emissary of the Havasupai; Sonya Belisle, sound alchemist and sacred space keeper of Sedonya; and ceremonialist Dr. Karmen, who will offer blessings of love to open the heart and unify our shared intention.

This is more than an opening—it is an awakening.

Through sacred song, invocation, and the sound of spring water cascading into resonant bowls, we begin with a calling forth of the essence of water in its purest, most luminous form. Havasupai spring water is honored with reverence, awakening its spirit and inviting it to cleanse, bless, and illuminate our beings.

Eagle feather wafting, sprinkling, and ceremonial gestures invite the water to move through and among us—blessing skin, stirring memory, and igniting purification on every level: body, mind, and soul.

This water is not symbolic. It is living. A gift of the Mother.

It is here to cleanse the puffiness of burden, to heal the forgetting, and to call each of us into clarity—into our roles as emissaries, sentinels, and stewards of Spirit and Earth.
